lady a, “what a song can do” tour
Being able to see a live show after two years was incredible. Surrounded by hundreds who love the same artist, adding some normalcy to my life and be able to go out and have a good time, forgetting everything that had happened in the last two years.
I grabbed tickets for the band’s Irvine, California stop at Five Point Amphitheater. I had also bought Carly Pearce Meet and Greet packages separately. (You can read the Meet and Greet experience HERE)
Lady A brought special guests Carly Pearce, Niko Moon, and Tenille Arts out on tour with them, and I’m a fan of all three of them, so it was a really amazing tour already before even seeing the show.

Tenille Arts opened the show first, coming out with her Taylor Swift-inspired sparkly guitar. She is a natural-born performer. You could see how happy she was to be on stage, and she was incredibly thankful to Lady A for taking her out on the road and to everyone who was singing along in the crowd.

I really wish Tenille’s set was longer; she really kept the audience entertained, and I absolutely love her voice and songs.
Niko Moon performed next. From the second his set started, it was HIGH ENERGY. He came from backstage jumping and leaping. I knew a couple of his songs prior to seeing him live, but I was an instant fan as soon as I saw him perform.

I loved Niko’s set list. He even brought out his wife, Anna Moon, during one of his songs to serenade her in front of the whole crowd. It was absolutely adorable.

Carly’s set was next. She is a really great performer and puts so much emotion into her songs. I honestly felt like I was at a Carly Pearce show because she knows how to put on such an amazing concert.

This was a really special show for Carly because it was the release day of her album 29: Written In Stone. It was a dream come true to spend release day with an artist at their concert.

It was time for Lady A to perform, and you could feel the excitement at the venue. They came out from behind a sparkly curtain, and the crowd erupted in screams and cheers.

I thought their setlist was much shorter than the last Lady A concert I attended, but they still put on a great show and played a lot of fan favorites. I wish they had played more songs from Oceans, though.

Venue: Five Point Amphitheater is the perfect outdoor/summer concert venue. It’s not too big and the setup is really nice. They have a bunch of food trucks come in for the concerts, and they always have boutiques to look around at, line dancing, corn hole, and raffles.
Seats: We got pit tickets; we were about three rows back from the barricade for the majority of the show.
Parking: Getting into the parking lot was quick and easy, but getting out was a little less quick. It’s free parking, and the traffic wasn’t terrible.
