for king & country, “what are we waiting for?” tour
I’ve seen this band three times in person and one time during a livestream during COVID times. This is one band I will never grow tired of seeing live. It’s as if each show is so different from the last, and their tours are always so personally crafted.
Fellow Christian singer Dante Bowe opened for them. Due to traffic, we were only able to hear two of his songs, but he was a really great singer. I loved the imagery he used in his song, Voice of God.
for KING & COUNTRY put on a two-hour show! There was no downtime; the whole show was energetic. This tour was the most visual one I have seen of theirs. I love how the screen became a big part of their storytelling on this tour.

It was a special show that night for the brothers. Their entire family was in attendance, as well as the producer of their film, Priceless, and their good friend, Sydney Quiseng of the band Echosmith.

Venue: Honda Center is a small local venue - it’s a nice venue to see concerts at, and I really recommend this venue, especially if you’re going to see your first concert.
Seats: We had floor seats, and they were really good. We were towards the back of the venue but we still had such a good view of the show. Joel and Luke make it a point to get as close to everyone in the audience as possible, so they were really close to us a few times throughout the show.
Parking: I will say Honda Center has terrible parking. The traffic control is poorly done, and if you’re getting dropped off, you still have to wait to “be parked” like everyone else. Getting in and out of the parking lot is a pain.
Overall: I loved how immersive this show was, as the majority of the storytelling (aside from the music, of course) was through the videos shown on the screen. It gave some of the songs new meaning for me, and really heightened the experience of the concert. for KING & COUNTRY never let me down; their shows are a true testament to Christ’s love, and I just love worship nights with them and hundreds of other fans. 9/10!
